Over the weekend, a group of enthusiastic Year 8–10 students set off on an unforgettable PGL trip packed with sport, teamwork, and adventure. Our Netball and Football trip proved once again to be a huge success, with pupils taking part in exciting tournaments and activities. We were proud to take three netball teams to the tournament, where they demonstrated incredible skill, determination, and team spirit. A huge congratulations to our Year 8/9 team, who battled their way to the final and came home with silver medals which is an outstanding achievement!
Meanwhile, our footballers took part in coaching sessions led by the FA, sharpening their skills and learning new techniques from top level coaches. It was a brilliant opportunity for development and fun. Pupils challenged themselves with classic PGL activities, including the giant swing, trapeze, zip lines, abseiling, and rifle shooting!
The weekend was full of laughs, courage, and memorable moments. A huge thank you to the staff who made the trip possible and well done to all students who represented the school so brilliantly. We’re already counting down the days to PGL 2026!
