On Thursday the annual Staff vs Student Football Match took place. With each team putting in an 11-a-side team to take glory for their groups in 2025. It has to be said that this match was one of lots of fun and good vibes as staff and students played well with encouraging and caring attitudes. With an expert ref in Mr Bowley, our sides were set to take the match and it was full of highlights and moments. Most importantly the final score was 3-0 to the staff (with a questionable ‘Off-Side’ ruling ruining a fourth goal). In spite of the score it was clear that the teams had given their all and gave the ‘fans’ what they came for.

Following the match proper the teams had the chance to take part in a 5 ball penalty shoot out. After some tense initial shots the Sixth Formers pulled ahead with a 4-3 advantage which could not be overturned in the final round. With the scores ending 5-4 to the Sixth Form pupils.

With the scores being 1-1 after the two events, it surely mean the tie-break is a must before Christmas. Join us for more.
