Staff at Etone College have come together in the spirit of giving to raise £107 in support of Guy’s Gift Bereavement Charity during the festive season.

In the lead-up to Christmas, Miss Haywood organised a special raffle event on behalf of Dragon house, made possible through the generous donations of staff. Contributions included a variety of thoughtful items such as chocolates, bottles of wine, and pamper gifts. These were carefully arranged into festive hampers , creating a selection of prizes that captured the excitement and goodwill of the season.

The raffle proved to be a great success, with members of the school community eager to take part while supporting a meaningful cause. The funds raised will go towards helping Guy’s Gift Bereavement Charity continue its important work supporting children and young people who are coping with loss.

This initiative not only highlighted the generosity of Etone College staff but also demonstrated the strong sense of community within the school. By working together,  staff were able to make a positive contribution and spread a little extra kindness during the Christmas period.

Dragon house is proud of everyone involved and looks forward to supporting more events to help Guys Gift in the future.
