It was great to have 219 Sports in this week to talk to our FA Academy about potential progression routes post 18. 219 are a consultancy service who represent a select number of high-level student-athletes each year, ensuring every individual receives the attention, strategy, and placement they deserve. This focused approach consistently results in exceptional offers and long-term success for our athletes. This being shown as last year Academy Graduate Callum followed this pathway and is now studying and playing in California.

219 Specialise in college soccer placement, they have successfully placed hundreds of athletes in over 30 states, working with talent from the UK, Europe, and the U.S. Our process is precise, personal, and powered by a vast network of college programs at every level and it’s great to have them working with us here at Etone College.

The first talk this week was around how the 219 self-paced online course is designed to help student-athletes aged 16-19 to navigate the recruitment process with confidence. Through structured training modules, video classes, and expert guidance, players and their families learn exactly what US college coaches look for — from building a standout highlight reel to understanding scholarship offers and eligibility requirements. We are looking forward to seeing the next FA graduates follow this exciting route.
