Year 10 Pupils Shine at Carding Mill Valley

We could not be prouder of our Year 10 pupils following their visit to Carding Mill Valley recently. Throughout the trip, our pupils represented Etone brilliantly, demonstrating our school values through their impeccable behaviour, kindness and consideration for others.

While the stunning surroundings provided a wonderful opportunity to explore and enjoy the outdoors, it was the actions of our pupils that truly stood out.

Two pupils, in particular, demonstrated what it means to live our values. Nicholas took the initiative to collect everyone's litter after lunch without being asked, showing great respect for the environment and a willingness to do the right thing. Samuel also showed exceptional kindness when he noticed an elderly lady struggling with the steps down the valley. Without hesitation, he stepped in to help her, demonstrating compassion, respect and thoughtfulness.

These thoughtful actions may seem small, but they reflect the character and values we strive to develop in all our pupils. Both Nicholas and Samuel showed that living our values is about making positive choices, taking responsibility and looking out for others, even when no one is watching.

House points and values points were awarded to recognise these fantastic examples of positive behaviour.

Well done to all our Year 10 pupils for representing Etone so wonderfully, and a special mention to Nicholas and Samuel for demonstrating our values in action. You have made us incredibly proud!
