At Etone we believe mental health is just as important as physical health. Last week, our community came together to celebrate Mental Health Week with a diverse range of activities focused on promoting wellbeing, building connections, and encouraging open conversations about mental health.
From Brew Monday, where students bonded over hot drink, buscuits and conversation, to inspiring assemblies led by our Wellbeing Ambassadors, the week offered opportunities for reflection and learning.
Students took part in mindful colouring sessions during lunchtime, offering a peaceful moment amid the school day. Our fun scavenger hunt got students moving and working together, while the ‘Think Green’ quiz linked the colour scheme green and mental health and well being.
The LGBT+ Mental Health Stand provided valuable resources and reinforced the importance of inclusivity in mental health support.
This week reminded us that small actions—like a kind word, and a creative breakcan make a big difference. We’re proud of our students and staff for their enthusiastic participation and commitment to making our school a caring, inclusive place for all.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to this successful week.
