Welcome to Etone
Staff Induction
We are delighted that you have chosen to join us at Etone College and we would like to extend a very warm welcome to our new staff to both Etone College and the Matrix Academy Trust. You are joining both a school and a Trust that places a very high importance on staff wellbeing as part of our Trust People Strategy.
We have a comprehensive package provided by both the school and the Matrix Academy Trust to welcome our new staff and to ensure that we do everything to support your transition to teaching in our school. We place a very high priority on staff wellbeing, reducing workload and prioritising the professional development of staff and our new staff induction programme is an integral part of this commitment to our staff. As part of your new staff induction, one of the first things that we will do is to introduce you to the comprehensive package of staff benefits available to you as a member of Matrix Academy Trust. Our wellbeing overview and mental health calendar shows all that we do to support our staff within the Etone College school setting.
What can you expect?

This will include a welcome breakfast, presentations from Senior Leaders, a full information pack to support transition, time with your faculty, a tour of the school as well as the chance to see our excellent teaching and learning in practice. One of the highlights of our year is our Trust Day when staff from across all of our schools come together to celebrate our achievements along with our annual Trust Charity event. At Etone, there are many opportunities for staff to come together throughout the academic year and our staff wellbeing page shows just some examples of these.
