Class of 26 – Revision Reminders

This week our Year 11 assembly time was used to provide some key reminders to pupils on the best ways to use their time this revision period. Whilst revision is an approach used across their time in KS4 it was an opportunity to revisit what makes these times most effective.

Revision comes from the Latin term revisio which means “to see again”. However, there is a key difference between revision and ‘looking’ at something you already know. Using revision guides are really useful, but do you know how best to use them? They aren’t like a novel you’d read with a cup of tea in an armchair are they? These were some of the key themes shared with our pupils throughout the session.

Supporting this is our brand new Study Smarter infographic remind pupils of some of the key themes in the session. We hope it helps you to make the most of your revision time!
