During our first meeting this year, our Diversity Champions for Inclusion were full of great ideas to help keep our calendar of inclusion up to date and interesting. 

We explored a couple of new events for this year including ‘Disability History Month’ coming up in November and ‘Autistic Pride Day’ in June. 

Our Champions had some great ideas for competition events that can be run to help raise awareness as well as pop-up stands and assembly topics. 

This year, our champions are planning to develop their leadership role even further by contributing more actively to assemblies and the publicity of inclusion issues within our school community.
