As always, we like to shout out about our pupils individual successes both inside and outside of school. This week we would like to shout out about Sophie in Year 11.

Sophie is a keen fisher and has taken part in many community initiatives, supporting others in the local community and from Etone, getting into the sport as a way to relax.

Sophie tool part in the National Fishing Competition on Saturday where she came first, winning the highest weight of her age catagory. 2nd overall all in the whole event out of over 400 children. Sophie was also featured as the flag bearer for the county representing her county.

A big congratulations to you Sophie – We hope you reel in more successes in the future!
