We are incredibly proud of Zak in Year 9, who enjoyed an outstanding weekend at the Leamington Spa Open, bringing home an impressive eight medals!
Zak demonstrated his talent and dedication in the pool, achieving an exceptional two gold medals, one silver medal and five bronze medals.
His success did not stop there. Zak also achieved County qualifying times in both the 50m Butterfly and 200m Individual Medley, as well as securing a Welsh National qualifying time in the 200m Individual Medley — a fantastic milestone in his swimming journey.
Zak’s achievements are a wonderful example of the Etone Learner in action. His success reflects the importance of resilience, self-belief, organisation and initiative — skills that help our learners strive for excellence, overcome challenges and reach their full potential. His commitment to developing his abilities beyond the classroom is something to celebrate.
