Qualifications

As part of our commitment to our pupils we ensure our staff are highly qualified and trained to enable them to deliver high quality teaching.

Some of the qualifications our staff hold are:

Degrees

All our teaching staff and a number of our support staff have received degrees and equivalent qualifications at various levels in a wide range of subjects including education and from a vast array of prestigious institutes, these include Bachelors of the Arts and Science, Masters and Doctorates of Philosophy (PHD). Our staff are experts in their selected subjects and education.

Specialist Leader in Education (SLE)

SLEs are outstanding middle and senior leaders in positions below the headteacher, with at least two years' leadership experience. They have a particular area of expertise (such as a subject area, early years, behaviour or school business management) and a successful track record of school improvement. At Etone we have a range of SLE’s in areas such as: Curriculum, Data, Behaviour, SEND, English and Maths.

National Professional Qualification

National professional qualifications (NPQs) are a national, voluntary suite of qualifications, designed to support the professional development of teachers and leaders. Staff at all levels of their career have the opportunity to develop their skills with our staff holding a host of these including: Middle Leadership, Behaviour and Culture, Leading Teaching, Leading Teaching Development, Senior Leadership, Headteacher and Executive Leadership levels.
